Missions and Missionaries are very important to our church.  They are out in the field spreading the Good News.   We partner with the Global Ministries Community to support missionaries through the EC Church.

Lamar & Janice Stoltzfus

Lamar and Janice Stoltzfus serve with Africa Inland Mission at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in Kijabe, Kenya.  During their time at RVA they have served in several capacities ranging from dorm parenting, teaching, leading department, and mentoring students.  Janice is currently serving as the Women’s Staff Chaplain at the school, while Lamar serves as the Director of Services for the school.  His role deals with the day-to-day operation of the school and its various departments.  When they are not living in Kenya, they call Lancaster County, Pennsylvania their other home.

Gloria Smethers

Gloria Smethers has 36 years working with Africa Inland Mission (AIM) in a nursing capacity.  She previously served in the Congo (formerly Zaire), Northern Kenya, and then at Rift Valley Academy (RVA).  She currently serves as one of the two nurses at the AIM Retirement Center in Minneola, Florida.  She takes care of the medical needs of the residents, including going to doctor appointments, picking up medicines from the pharmacies, answering insurance questions, visiting residents in hospital or nursing home, and going to the ER when emergencies arise.

Brian & Missy Wagner

Brian and Missy Wagner serve at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in Kijabe, Kenya.  They have a love for teaching and mentoring Missionary Kids.  They have served in a variety of roles including teachers, dorm parents, and class sponsors.  Brian has taught AP Calculus and served as the math department chair.  He has also been the coordinator for curriculum development, school accreditation and RVA’s interim program.  Missy has served in the role of Admissions Director, guiding families through the application process and helping them prepare for their child’s transition to RVA.

Dan and Mary Lynne Wills

Dan and Mary Lynne Wills serve with Wycliffe in South Carolina.  Dan is a Resource Coordinator and Associate Director.  In this role he assists missionaries who are going through transitions in their lives; helping them with change of assignments, furloughs, medical leave and loss of spouse and retirement.  In his role as Associate Director, he has five Resource Coordinators who report to him and he helps with decision making and other needs that they may have with the families with which they work.  Mary Lynne is a Finance Assistant and is responsible for helping new families set up their budgets.

Randy and Cristy Shearer

Randy and Cristy Shearer serve with Trans World Radio (TWR) in Europe/CAMENA (Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa) regions and reside in Cyprus where the TWR European office is located.  Randy is the IT/Computer Technician and Program Distribution Technician and is responsible for keeping all of TWR Europe’s computers and networking hardware operating and he handles help desk calls from TWR employees.  Randy is also responsible for keeping the network and servers operating that allow the producers to upload programs aired over the radio and to send programs to many radio stations.  Cristy is the Events Coordinator/Team Administrator and is responsible for organizing the annual conference as well as handling small office events.
